These turbos were rebuilt by Turbos Direct, who is also a Garrett Distributor. Customers original turbos were rebuilt by Turbos Direct, Customer installed them and said they were leaking. So I told customer to return them, and we'll get them inspected and warranty them if they are leaking. Turbos direct inspected them, and did not find any oil that came through the seal. Only visible oil was in the exhaust turbine housing, when customer returned them. So they went the extra step and installed new seals, bearings, and a new shaft. 2 weeks later customer had the same problem with oil in the exhaust turbine housing. I confirmed that the turbos were not leaking, and he has to have a broken piston, piston ring, or valve seal leak. So this is where we are at with this. We do about 4-6 rebuilds per month with Turbos Direct, don't see many turbos leak, especially ones that have been done twice. I'm more then willing to help, but if the turbos are not the problem, I don't know what else I can do.
